4 INSURING YOUR LAWNMOWER

Check the insurance on your lawnmower.
Contact your insurance company.
You ought to have fully comprehensive insurance 
for traffic, fire, damage and theft.

5 ASSEMBLY

The battery must be fully charged befo-
re being used for the first time.
Do not use the machine until all the in-
dications provided in the "ASSEMBLY"
section have been carried out.
Unpacking and completing the assem-
bly should be done on a flat and stable
surface, with enough space for machi-
ne handling and its packaging, always
making use of suitable equipment.

ASSEMBLY COMPONENTS (3)

The  machine  is  delivered  with  the  seat,  steering 
wheel and bonnet dismantled. The battery is in its 
housing but not connected. 
The packaging holds the components needed for 
assembly (3) as listed in the table below:

BONNET (5)

Open the bonnet to access the fuel cap and 
engine oil cap. 
Install the bonnet (5:A) as follows:
4. Insert the hinge in the groove (5:B) on the 
guard (5:C).

5. Press firmly to get the hinge into the two slots 
6. Open and close the bonnet to check that it

Tightening torque: 24 Nm.
The  seat  can  be  folded.  If  the  machine  is  parked 
outside  where  it  is  exposed  to  rain,  fold  the  seat 
(5:D)
opens and closes correctly.

BATTERY

WARNING! Battery acid is corrosive
and contact with it is harmful. Handle
the battery with care taking care not to
let acid leak out.
Note: To connect the battery, contact an
authorized technical assistance servi-
ce.
The battery must be fully charged befo-
re being used for the first time.
Please refer to 9.8 for the battery char-
ging procedure.

SEAT (6)

NOTE! To facilitate installation of the
seat, apply a drop of oil to the four
screws before screwing them in.
