Turning on/off the power
How to turn on the power

Set the power switch to < > (ON).
The power lamp will illuminate in red when the power is on.
f The [AREA SETTINGS] screen is displayed when the power is turned on for the first time.
Set the region of use, date, time, and time zone.

NOTE
t The internal battery (rechargeable battery) will discharge. The setting for date/time may be initialized when the camera is not turned on for
approximately two months.
Set the date/time again after charging the built-in battery. (page 45)
t The power lamp will not illuminate or flash when the [SYSTEM SETTINGS] menu → [LED & FAN] → [POWER LED] → [OFF] is set. However, it will
illuminate for approximately 1 second during startup.
