USING THE APPS

From the Home screen, select
Note:
To install a third party application, you must first enable the Unknown source setting in the Security ⇒
Advanced Settings menu. Refer to page 56.
You can then install the downloaded APK (Android Package) file into your system.
Generally, you can use the remote control to nagivate through the options when using an app.
However, some of apps are not workable with the remote control. If this happens, please connect a
mouse to the panel.
IMPORTANT!
The embedded Android 11 operation system is not standard Android. As such, Google Play is not
available in the Apps list. The installed third party application might not work properly if it is not
designed for panel. Optoma will not guarantee that these self-installed Apps work.
Optoma flat panel displays run a customized Android operating system and do not support
Google Play Services. The operating system may not be compatible with all third-party Android
apps. Third-party Android apps can vary in quality and some even contain malicious codes,
which could compromise system security and may invalidate product warranty. Optoma makes
no representations regarding the quality, security or suitability of any third-party apps and their
compatibility with the Optoma flat panel. Optoma shall have no responsibility or liability with respect
to any damage, faults, loss in functionality or security issues arising as a direct or indirect result
of the installation of third-party apps on the flat panel. Optoma support in rectifying any issue
which may result from the installation of third-party apps will be chargeable and may be limited.
