Dosimag Maintenance Maintenance No special maintenance work is required. Exterior cleaning When cleaning the exterior of measuring devices, always use cleaning agents that do not attack the surface of the housing and the seals. Seals The seals should be replaced periodically. The intervals between replacing the seals depends on the frequency of the cleaning cycles and on the fluid and cleaning temperatures.
Dosimag Troubleshooting Troubleshooting instructions Fault conditions that arise during operation are identified by Dosimag and signaled and output in different ways: • Via the status output → Page 27 • Via error messages in the "FieldTool" operating program → Page 25 ff.
In the event of a serious fault, a flowmeter might have to be returned to the manufacturer for repair. The procedures on → Page 4 must be carried out before you return the device to Endress+Hauser. Always enclose a duly completed "Declaration of contamination" form. You will find a preprinted form at the back of these Operating Instructions.
Returning devices to Endress+Hauser The procedures on Page 4 must be carried out before you return a flowmeter requiring repair or calibration to Endress+Hauser.
