Monochrome - the IR cut-off filter is removed, giving full IR sensitivity.
Color - the camera always produces a color signal regardless of light levels.
Night-to-day switchover
Adjust the slider to set the video level at which the camera in Auto mode switches from
monochrome to color operation (-15 to +15).
A low (negative) value means that the camera switches to color at a lower light level. A high
(positive) value means that the camera switches to color at a higher light level.
(The actual switch-over point might change automatically to avoid instable switching.)

Enhance

All settings on this page except for Noise reduction are scene-mode specific. This means that
you can adjust the sharpness/noise suppression/HDR on each scene mode.
High dynamic range
The High dynamic range mode uses an electronic shutter to capture multiple images with
different exposure times and to reproduce a high-contrast frame. The output frame combines
the bright area captured by the high-speed shutter image and the dark area captured by the
low-speed shutter image. The result is that you can view details in both the bright areas
(highlights) and the dark areas (shadows) of a scene at the same time.
Select the appropriate option:
Backlight compensation
Contrast enhancement
Select On to increase the contrast in low contrast conditions.
Intelligent Defog
With the Intelligent Defog mode feature, visibility can be improved significantly when viewing
foggy or other low-contrast scenes.
Select Auto to activate the Intelligent Defog feature automatically as needed.
Select Off to disable the feature.
Select Extreme DR to activate the feature for viewing images of very low contrast.
Select the amount of intensity for the defog feature.
Note: This field is active only when the option in Intelligent Defog is "On".
Intelligent Dynamic Noise Reduction
Select On to activate intelligent Dynamic Noise Reduction (DNR) which reduces noise based
on motion and light levels.
Sharpness level
This field is active when Sharpness mode is set to Manual.
Adjust the level of sharpness of the video image (from 1 to 15) using the slider.
Adjustments to the Sharpness level appear on the OSD.

Off - stops High dynamic range, and enables features such as fixed shutter and BLC.
HDR X - Motion optimized - This mode optimizes focus on objects in fast motion in the
scene. The camera has improved dynamic range compared to "Off" mode, but without
HDR blending artifacts.
HDR X - Optimized DR - In this mode, the camera optimizes high dynamic range scenes.
HDR X - Extreme DR - This mode gives the highest dynamic range, which can give more
visibility, but could possibly cause visual noise or artifacts.
Select Off to switch off backlight compensation.
Select On to capture details in high-contrast and extremely bright-dark conditions.
Select Intelligent Auto Exposure to capture object detail in scenes with people moving in
front of a bright background.
