Data record TMFASTUserWriteREC

D.1

Use and structure of TMFASTUserWriteREC (data record 101)

The TMFASTUserWriteREC data record allows user-defined acyclic data to be transferred to
the module and read back. The data are transferred to the module using data record 101
(e.g. with the WRREC instruction) or read from the module (e.g. with the RDREC instruction).
You can conveniently perform these tasks using the LTMFAST_UserWriteREC (Page 36)
instruction.
The structure of the TMFASTUserWriteREC depends on the TM FAST application. You define
the length of the data record using the system logic parameter WR_REC_DWORD_SIZE. You
can select a length of 4, 32, 64 or 128 bytes here. The length can no longer be changed for a
loaded TM FAST application. You can find additional information in the programming manual
Creating a TM FAST Application
(https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109816088).
If errors occur during the transfer or validation of the data with the WRREC instruction, you
will receive a corresponding error code in the STATUS output parameter. You can find a
description of the error codes in the section Validation error with data record 101 (Page 68).
D.2

Validation error with data record 101

If errors occur during the transfer or validation of data record 101 with the WRREC
instruction, you will receive a corresponding error code in the STATUS output parameter. You
can find information on using WRREC/RDREC in the section Parameter validation error with
data record 128 (Page 61).

Technology module TM FAST (6ES7554-1AA00-0AB0)
Equipment Manual, 04/2023, A5E52301130-AA
Meaning
Data record number unknown
Length of data record incorrect
Slot invalid or not accessible
No enabled TM FAST application in the FPGA
Remedy
Enter valid number for data record
Enter valid value for data record length. A value of 1,
8, 16 or 32 DWord is allowed. The value must match
the value in the system logic parameter
WR_REC_DWORD_SIZE.
Check whether module is inserted or removed.
Check assigned values for parameters of the
WRREC instruction.
Activate TM FAST application in FPGA.
