Configuring IR-Controlled Devices 1 and 2

Devices "1" and "2" correspond to the devices connected to the IRTX1 and IRTX2 (IR output) connectors on the rear panel
of the UDM-0102 (see FIG. 2):

Use an IR01 IR Emitter Module (FG-IR01 - not included) to connect each device to the UDM-0102. The IR01 modules
connect the IRTX1/2 ports to the IR receivers on the devices, to allow them to receive IR control signals directly from the
UDM-0102.
The device connected to IRTX1 represents Device "1" on the Devices page.

The device connected to IRTX2 represents Device "2" on the Devices page.


Enter a name for each device in the Name text fields.
2.
Select the appropriate IR protocol from the Protocol drop-down menu. The protocols available for selection here are
defined in the Protocols page (see the Configuration - Protocols Page section on page 44).

Devices Page - Control Bar Options

The options in the Control Bar (FIG. 55) allow you to schedule commands to these devices, or send commands directly to
any or all of these devices.

Scheduling an Event for IR-Controlled Devices

Use the Schedule link on the Control Bar to schedule an event (based on an IR command) for one or more IR-Controlled
Device:
1.
Select the command that you want to schedule from the Control drop-down menu (FIG. 56).
