Caller ID

The telephone stores caller ID information
about the last 50 incoming calls in the
telephone base.

Memory match

If the incoming telephone number
matches the last 7 digits of a telephone
number in your phonebook, the name
that appears on the screen matches the
corresponding name in your phonebook.
For example, if Christine Smith calls, her
name appears as Chris if this is how you
entered it into your phonebook.
NOTE
• The number you see on your caller ID
is in the format sent by the telephone
service provider. It usually delivers
10-digit telephone numbers (area
code plus telephone number).
If the last 7 digits of the incoming
telephone number do not match
a number in your phonebook, the
name appears as it is delivered by the
telephone service provider.
