Climate controls
For the system to function properly,
the side and centre vents should be
fully open.
The sensor which measures the
interior temperature is located in
the centre of the heater control panel. The
sunload sensor is located on top of
the instrument panel. The sensors
should not be covered by any objectes.
At low outside temperatures, when
the system is in AUTO mode, the
air stream will be directed to the
front screen and the side windows
as long as the engine is cold.
Rear console adjustable vents (if equipped)
The airflow can be turned on or off with the rotary
control in the centre of the vents. Vents should be
either fully open (top detent) or fully closed (bottom
detent position).
The direction of the airflow can be adjusted
horizontally and vertically within the swivelling
range of the air vanes and vents.
Setting the temperature
Blue button: lower temperature.
Red button: higher temperature.
The temperature can be set
o
o
between 16
C and 28
C in steps of
o
0.5
C using the buttons. In position
o
LO (below 16
C ) the system will
switch to permanent cooling, in HI
o
(above 28
C ) to permanent
heating, and not regulate a stable
temperature.
