If individual circumstances require
that a child older than 1 year must
travel in a front seat protected by
an operational air bag, always use a
forward facing restraint and move
the seat as far rearward as possible.
Extreme Hazard! Do not use
a rearward facing child
restraint on a seat protected by
an air bag in front of it!

When installing a child restraint on
the front seat, it may prove difficult
to tighten the lap section of the seat
belt without slack remaining. If this
is the case, adjust the seatback to
the fully upright position.
A choice of ECE approved child
seats is available at your Ford
Dealer. Please ask for the
recommended child restraint for
each mass/age group.
