Once you have used
your Killer NIC for
some time, the
Application screen will
look something like the
image to the right.
There are 3 sections
outlined in red: the
checkbox, scroll bar
and the bandwidth
slider. When the
checkbox for "Show all
applications" is ticked,
you will see many items
that you don't
commonly see in Windows, including background services, inactive processes, and
installed but unused applications. This is why the scroll bar on the side is as small as it
is, because there will likely be pages worth of information available by the time you
scroll to the bottom.
The right side of the program list will have a gray square indicating the percentage of
bandwidth this item is permitted to use, but not necessarily *WILL* use. Referring to
the pic above, the default is 100%.
The figure above shows the bandwidth controls as well as other information provided
on this page. You can adjust alotted bandwidth for applications and processes by setting
the Priority of the application/process, which allows the Killer Suite to auto-adjust
bandwidth allocations. If you mouse over the "Priority" tab, you will see the path of the
