CLEANING AND STORAGE
• DO NOT attempt to open the battery.
• DO NOT place the battery in the regular household trash.
• DO NOT incinerate.
• DO NOT place them where they will become part of any waste landfill or municipal solid waste stream.
• Cover the battery terminals with heavy-duty adhesive tape.
• If a leak develops, the released electrolytes are corrosive and toxic. DO NOT get the solution in
your eyes or on your skin, and do not swallow it.
• Dispose of the battery pack in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.
TROUBLESHOOTING
CAUSE
THE MOTOR WILL NOT RUN
The battery is not charged
The battery is not installed correctly
THE MOTOR OPERATES SLOWLY
The battery lacks sufficient charge
THE MOTOR RUNS, BUT THE UNIT WILL NOT BLOW
The impeller (fan) is damaged
The tube and/or blower opening is blocked
THE BATTERY DIES QUICKLY

SOLUTION
Charge the battery completely
Remove and reinstall the battery
Charge the battery completely
Have the unit serviced by an authorized service
center
Clear the blockage. Refer to Clearing a Blocked
Blower Tube in the Maintenance and Repair
Instructions section.
Charge the battery completely
Replace the battery
Plug the charger into a 120V 60hz AC source
Fully insert the battery into the charger base
Allow the battery to cool for 30 minutes before
placing it into the charger
