Basic Functions

All the features described in this section are avail-
able for both single-line and multiline telephones.

Answering a Call

The telephone rings.

Lift the handset.

or Set call volume. To raise or lower the volume, press the
relevant key until the desired volume is set.

Open Listening During a Call

You can allow other people in the room to join the tele-
phone conversation. Inform the party at the other end of
the line that you are switching to loudspeaker.
Prerequisite: You are conducting a call. The function
key "Loudspeaker" is configured, see
Activating the Loudspeaker Function
Press the key. The LED lights up, the loudspeaker is ac-
tivated.
Deactivating the Loudspeaker Function
Press the key. The LED goes out, the loudspeaker is de-
activated.
