Visit and enter the Info Code for minimum software support ni.com/info softwareversion information. Installing the PCIe-7857 Power off and unplug the computer. Access the computer system expansion slots. This step might require you to remove one or more access panels on the computer case. Locate a compatible slot and remove the corresponding slot cover on the computer back panel.
Verifying Hardware Installation You can verify that the system recognizes the PCIe-7857 by using Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX). Launch MAX by navigating to Start»All Programs»National Instruments»MAX or by clicking the MAX desktop icon. Expand Devices and Interfaces. Verify that the device appears under Devices and Interfaces.
