Preparing the Cutting Unit
Keep all the existing parts for installing the kit, except for the
rear cover and the brush plate.
1. Move the machine to a level surface, set the parking
brake, shut off the engine, and remove the key.
2. Remove the cutting unit from the machine.
3. Remove the nuts securing the covers, and remove the
covers
(Figure
1).
