4. Remove any dirt and oil from the front cover

5. Apply the wear strip to the front cover as shown in
Figure
8.
6. Align the front cover with the long cover, and hold
them tightly together as you press the covers into
position

Note: Keeping the rear cover pressed tightly against
the front cover makes installation easier and also
avoids shearing the foam pad. Compress the foam pad
by pushing the covers together. With the foam pad
compressed, align the holes in the covers with the bolts.

7. Tighten the nuts to secure the covers
8. Remove the bottom plug to allow for drainage
