2. Remove the headlight unit bolt on each
side of the snowmobile.

3. Unfasten the plastic band around the wire
harness.

4. Disconnect the cylinder head breather
hose.
5. Unhook the air filter case cover fasteners.

6. Slightly lift up the headlight unit, and then
remove the air filter case cover.
Periodic maintenance
7. Lift up the air filter element frame and
check the air filter element. If there is any
snow on the air filter element, remove the
element, brush off the snow, and then in-
stall the air filter element.
8. Place the air filter element frame in the
original position, and then install the air
filter case cover.
9. Hook the fasteners onto the air filter case
cover.
10. Connect the cylinder head breather hose.
11. Install the headlight unit, making sure to
insert the projections on the headlight
unit stay into the slots on the bottom of
the headlight unit.
