Setup

The procedure to install the Internal LTO to the systems like Express5800 series is explained.
Attach the latching rails
Some servers require the latching rails to be used. For details on how to install the latching rails, refer
to the server's operating manual or device expansion unit's user manual.
(Example1)
Attach the latching rails as shown in the figure below. Secure the lower holes of the latching
rails with screws. Use screw of the Internal LTO accessary to fix.
(Example2)
For device expansion unit, attach the rails as accessary of device expansion unit shown as
below figure. Use screw of the Internal LTO accessary to fix.
・ Please use the correct latching rails which are attached with the system.
・ The screws attached with the Internal LTO are used for mounting the latching rail to the Internal LTO.
When the instruction is available by the system, please follow the instruction by system.
The screws with Internal LTO are all metric screws.
Using longer screws could result in damage to the device.
Attached parts may not be used for the installation environment,
In such case, the remaining parts should be kept for the future usage.
