SETUP

The procedure to install the Built-In LTO to the systems like Express5800 series is
explained.
Before installing the Built-In LTO drive into the system, Latching rails are needed to be
installed onto the drive as shown in below.
Upper side mounting screw hole is used for tightening the Latching rail to the drive.

Attach the latching rails

Attach the latching rails as shown in the figure below. Secure the upper holes of the
latching rails with screws.
・ Please use the correct latching rails which are attached with the system.
・ Use the screws attached to the Built-in LTO for
latching rails. The attached screws are metric
screws (4.0 mm length, 3.5 mm under its
washer). Using a longer screw than them may
cause damage to the Built-in LTO internally and
malfunction may occur.
