ADJUSTMENTS

WARNING: Read and
understand the Safety section
before proceeding.

ADJUST CUTTING HEIGHT

WARNING: ALWAYS block
wheels, engage parking brake
and know all jack stands are
strong, secure and will hold
weight of unit during
maintenance.
Cutting height can be adjusted from
38 mm – 102 mm (1 1/2" – 4") using the
height of cut (HOC) rods and washers
supplied with the unit. See Figure 28.
NOTICE: If necessary, up to an additional 13
mm (1/2") of cutting height can be
obtained.See See Additional Cutting Height
on page 22.
Holes in the height of cut (HOC) rods are
used to adjust the cut height. The holes are
spaced at 12 mm (1/2") increments. Washers
are mounted on the HOC rods between the
frame and hair pin to prevent frame wear. In
addition, spacers are added or removed to
allow cut height adjustments in 6 mm (1/4")
increments.
See Figure 29.
1. Using the handles, raise the deck until the
desired hole in the HOC rod is above the
top of the frame and washer.
2. To raise cut height by 6 mm (1/4"),
remove hex bolts and insert HOC
washers.
