INSTALLATION TO RACK/REMOVAL FROM RACK

Install the Device Expansion Unit to the rack (the removal procedure is described below).
If you purchased the built-in option sold separately, first install the option to the Device
Expansion Unit.
Observe the following instructions to use the NEC Express server
safely. Failure to follow these instructions may cause a fire, personal
injury, or property damage. See pages vi through xvii for details.




Checking Installation Components
Make sure that the following components are provided to install the Device Expansion Unit
in the rack.

(M5 millimeter screw)
Required Tools
Only a phillips-head screw driver is required as the tool for installing the Device Expansion
Unit to the rack.
CAUTION
Do not lift the Device Expansion Unit only by yourself.
Do not install with the load weight distributed unevenly.
Do not install the Device Expansion Unit leaving the cover
Do not pinch your finger with mechanical components.
Do not work in the state installed to the rack
