CONNECTION

Connect the Device Expansion Unit to the NEC Express server through the SAS interface
cable (K410-168(02)/K410-191(02)).
The SAS connector enabling the Device Expansion Unit to be connected to the NEC
Express Server is provided on the rear of the Device Expansion Unit. Turn off the power of
the NEC Express server, pull out the power plug of the server from the AC outlet, and
connect the SAS cable to the server. After connecting the Device Expansion Unit to the
NEC Express server through the SAS interface cable, insert the power plug of the NEC
Express server and that of the Device Expansion Unit into AC outlets.
