6-Cylinder Direct Injection 3.0L 4V TFSI Supercharged Engine - Edition 01.2016
– Remove the bolts -2- on the left and right sides of the lock
carrier.
– Tilt top of radiator back and remove it upward out of engine
compartment.
– Remove the condenser bolts -3- on the back of the radiator.
– Remove the clips -2 and 4-.
– Remove the condenser -1- from the radiator.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

If there are small impressions on the fins. Refer to

– Tighten ATF lines.
– Tighten the power steering hydraulic lines. Refer to ⇒ Sus‐
pension, Wheels, Steering; Rep. Gr. 48 ; Power Steering
Pump, Hydraulic Pipes and Reservoir; Lines and Hoses
Overview .
– Install the refrigerant lines. Refer to ⇒ Heating, Ventilation and
Air Conditioning; Rep. Gr. 87 ; Refrigerant Circuit, Servicing;
Refrigerant Lines, Disconnecting from Compressor and Con‐
necting .
– Install the fan shroud. Refer to
and Installing", page 222
– Fill the refrigerant system. Refer to ⇒ Refrigerant R134a Ser‐
vicing; Rep. Gr. 00 .
– Connect the coolant hose to the coupling. Refer to
""Connect Coolant Hose to Coupling"" , page 216
Note
If radiator was replaced, coolant must be changed.
