Inspections or work to be carried out and noted in the form
– ERA Glonass: check that the emergency call system is ready (only for vehicles with PR number NZ3)
– ERA Glonass: run system test (only for vehicles with PR number NZ3)
– Inspect upholstery, upholstery, carpeting, footmats and coverings for cleanliness and damage
– Inspect all switches, all electrical components, all gauges/indicators and controls
– Check proper operation of key switch for airbag "ON/OFF" and position to "ON"
– Set the temperature to 22 °C (Climatronic)
– Check that the vehicle's Infotainment system is working
– Set clock
– Check language version of driver's instructions
– Check the digital instructions in Infotainment
– Time-delayed locking mechanism after closure of tailgate - activate/deactivate (only valid for some
countries)
– Install net in luggage compartment (if available)
– Breakdown kit: check
– Check vehicle log book for completion, correct language - all in the vehicle log book pouch
Underside of vehicle (on lift platform)
– Inspect underbody (underbody protection for damage)
– Check engine, gearbox, final drive, steering, brake systems, axles and boots of steering joints for
leaks and damage. Check proper routing of the brake hoses and brake lines, fuel lines including
ventilation of the fuel system
– Inspect tyres and wheels for damage
– Take out anti-lock components for front shock absorber (vehicles with basic and sport chassis)
Concluding operations
– Perform a test drive.
– Check that the warning sticker is present - only applies to PHEV Hybrid vehicles, engine code DGEA
– Check that the charging cable is present and in good condition - only applies to PHEV Hybrid
vehicles, engine code DGEA
