Performing Duplex Printing (with Automatic Duplex Unit)

If the Automatic Duplex Unit is installed in your printer, automatic duplex printing can be performed.

Load paper into the Tray 1 (standard media tray), Tray 2*
•The following paper must be used. Otherwise, it may cause wrinkles or paper jam.
Media Type:Thin paper [60 – 75 g/m
Paper Size: Letter, Legal, A4 or B5 (JIS)
•Lay the paper straight if the paper is curled.

* If the Optional Paper Feeder has been installed, these selections can be selected.

Open a document to perform duplex printing

Select Page Setup... from your application's File menu.

Select your printer from

Select the loaded paper size [Letter, Legal, A4 or B5 (JIS)] from Paper.

Click [OK].

Select Print... from the application's File menu.

Select Auto Select, Tray 1, Tray 2 or Tray 3 from the Paper Source in
General menu

Click General menu and select Printer Specific Options menu.

Select Plain Paper, Thin Paper, Bond/Letterhead or Recycled Paper from
Media Type.
