<Adjusting the position of the thread trimmer
cam>
1. Turn the sewing machine pulley to move the needle bar up
6mm from the lowest position [base line (a) position] and
align the base line (b) with the lower end of the needle bar
metal.
2. Under the above conditions, push the plunger (1) of the
thread trimmer solenoid in the direction of the arrow with
your finger.
Adjust the position of the thread trimmer cam (2) so that
the roller shaft (4) of the thread trimmer cam lever set (3)
comes into contact with the bore (c) of the thread trimmer
cam (2) and the clearance between the end face of the
thread trimmer cam (2) and the roller shaft (4) is 0.5 to
1.0mm. Then tighten the set screw (5). ([A] diagram)
3. Check that the end face of the thread trimmer cam (2) and
the roller shaft (4) do not come into contact when the roller
shaft (4) is returned to the right.

* Tighten the set screws (5) [2 pcs.] with approx. 4N·m.
