Aligning the Print Head

After the BJ cartridge is exchanged, align the print head position of the BJ cartridge as explained
below.

Confirm that the printer is turned on and place two sheets of A4 plain paper in
the auto sheet feeder.

Open the Printer Properties dialogue box.
Click Start and select Settings-Printer.
Click Canon BJ F300 and then select Properties from the File menu.

Select Print Head Alignment.
Click the Maintenance tab to open the Maintenance
sheet.
Click the Print Head Alignment icon.

Read the screen message and then click OK.

If the pattern shown on the right is printed, click
Yes in response to the confirmation message.
