Turn your phone on and off

Turn your phone on and off
When your phone is on, it is connected to the Cingular network (provided
you're in a coverage area) so that you can make and receive phone calls
and use wireless services, such as email, messaging, and the web browser.
During initial setup, your phone is automatically turned on, so you can use
wireless services right away. If you turn off your phone, you can still use the
organizer and media features such as Calendar and Pics&Videos.
1. Wake up the touchscreen.
2. Press and hold Power/End
your phone.

Note: If you're prompted for a PIN code, your SIM
card is locked. If you don't know your PIN code, ask
Cingular to provide you with the PIN code.
