Front Control Console

There are several front control User Interface
(UI) configurations. There is a 2, 3, and 4
button configuration. This section will cover the
front control console removal, UI control board
removal and UI diagnostics.

Front Control Console Removal
1. Remove the door and separate the inner and
outer door panels.
2. Remove two 1/4-inch screws from the bottom
of the console.
3. Lift up on the console and away from the
inner door panel to separate the console from
the inner door panel.
UI Control Board Removal
1. Remove front control console.
2. Push down on the three tabs while pulling up
on the user interface control board.
User Interface (UI) Diagnosing
If there is no operation or LED's will not light:
• Check for 120 VAC entering the machine
control at junction box. If no voltage is found,
or voltage disappears when Start button is
pressed, a house electrical fault is suspected.
• The user interface (UI) operational voltage
output is from the main control board on
connector J401 pin 3 (dark blue/navy) to
J401 pin 4 grey 13.5 VDC. If 13.5 VDC is not
found, replace the main control board.
• If J401 has 13.5 VDC, check continuity
through the user interface harness. If the
harness has good continuity and there is 13.5
VDC at user interface board J101 pin 1 (grey)
to J101 pin 2 (dark blue/navy), replace user
interface board.
