Door; Door Removal - Haier GE GDF450P R0 Series Technical Service Manual

The door receives DC voltage only and has a
screwless appearance. The door contains a
User Interface (UI) board with all tactile switches
on the board. Models have LED indicator lights.
The door also houses the detergent module.

Door Removal

1. Remove power to the dishwasher.
2. Remove the toe kick.
3. Disconnect the door wire harness at the
bottom of the main control cover.
4. Release push connector holding the harness
to the tub.

5. Locate the left door balance cable and insert
an Allen wrench or tool formed into a hook (as
shown below).
6. Lift the left cable up and slide it down and
away from the dishwasher. Do not release
tension from the cable.
7. Slide the left cable into the cable holder to
prevent spring from disconnecting from the
cable.
