System Infrastructure Guide
An Administrator assigns each user a role used to identify and
grant access to applications' features. Roles establish an
important level of security, as they are assigned to users based
on business need and function. Roles eliminate the need to
assign duplicate security permissions to a user or a group of
users. Every user with the same role has the same security
permissions.
The term used for the capture of a graphical representation of
what was displayed on the Agent's PC or other terminal screen
within the Call Center. When the screen recording is replayed
by the Supervisor, the screen activity is played like a movie of
the screen. Not all data is captured, in order to reduce the
bandwidth of the recording various schemes are used to only
capture those areas of change.
System security is based on roles, folders, and a user list (or
hierarchy). System Administrators configure and maintain
applications with system administrator tools. An organization
usually grants system administrator security privileges to only
one or two individuals who in turn grant security permissions to
all other system users.
