Typical recording scenario

Call recording begins with a CTI event being emitted from the CTI server.
This event is processed by the Unify script, which communicates data to the
Capture Engine. The Capture Engine passes the data to the Workflow
manager and voice card for further processing. When a call is finished, its
metadata is uploaded to the Calls database for later retrieval. This process is
shown in the following illustration:
