Placing a call on hold

You can use this function to place an ongoing call on
hold, for instance, to prevent the other party overhea-
ring a conversation with a colleague in the same room.
Prerequisite: You are on a call and the "Hold" key must
be configured, see ! page 47.
Press the "Hold" key. The call is on holod. The party on
hold hears music.
Following a configured period of time a double beep re-
minds you that the party is still on hold,
Press the "Hold" key to resume the held call. You can
now make a consultation call or end the call.

Transferring a call

You can transfer your current call to another party with
or without consultation. The features "Transfer on Han-
gup" and "Transfer on Ring" must be activated by service
personnel.
The following function keys should be configured, see
! page 47:
Blind Transfer
Consult/Transfer
Confirm
Blind transfer
Prerequisite: You are conducting a call.
Press the "Blind Transfer" key.

Enter the phone number of the party to whom you want
to transfer the call.
Press the "Confirm" key or wait until the autodial delay
expires (! page 49).
The call is transferred to a second station. You can hang
up the handset or redial.
If the second party does not answer, you will be called
back by the first party.
