2. On the Calibration screen, select the .A2L and
.PAR that correspond to the version installed
on the module. These files are located under
C:\Program Files\ArCom\Software\nnn, where
nnn is the name of the folder that is the same
as the version of software that is currently on
the SHC module (ex., nnn = SHC_3.2.8).
The .A2L file is the SHC-PCU32.A2L file
that resides in this folder. Figure 4.30.

The default .par file has the same name as
the folder (ex., SHC_3.2.8.par).

Height Sensor Calibration
If the vehicle is listing after a modification to the
suspension system, the height sensors may need
to be recalibrated. ArCOM provides two methods
for calibration. One method is automated which
requires functioning ASI shock height sensors.
The other method is a manual process which
requires a metric measuring table with millimeter
increments.

Automated Height Sensor Calibration
The automated height calibration is done with SHC
Checker. The SHC Checker calibrates the SHC
height sensors using data from the ASI shock
height sensors. As a result, both systems must be
operating for this method to work.
To use the automated height sensor calibration:
1. Start SHC Checker.
2. Click the Height Sensor Calibration button and
follow the onscreen prompts.
SHC Checker performs checks on the ASI Shock
Height Sensor output. If it detects a fault, it will
display a message to the user indicating which
fault was detected and abort the calibration
process. If this occurs, the user must either correct
the ASI Shock Height Sensor Fault, or calibrate the
vehicle using the Manual Calibration method.
