Automated Tests
The following is a list of automated tests the SHC
Checker can perform.
1. CAN Communications: Verifies that the SHC
module is communicating on the vehicle CAN
bus.
2. Selector Switch Test: Verifies that the analog
selector switch is calibrated correctly.
3. Air Line Plumbing Tests: Verifies that the air
lines are connected to the correct corner.
4. Height Sensor Tests: Verifies that SHC height
sensors are operating in the correct operating
range.
5. Height Sensor Calibration: Calibrates the SHC
height sensors using the ASI shock height
sensors. This feature may only be used if ASI
shock sensors are available.
6. Run All Tests and Calibrate: Runs through all
of the automated routines described above.
To select any of these tests, click on the
appropriate button and follow any onscreen
prompts. Once the test is performed, a test report
is generated and displayed. Each test generates its
own report summary file. The files have a suffix
that corresponds to the test that generated it.

5. Height Sensor Calibration: -CAL.txt
6. Run All Tests and Calibrate: .ver
These reports can be viewed and printed using the
Report Manager option.

Manual Troubleshooting
To activate manual control of the solenoids, click
on the Manual Solenoid Control button. The
system will remain in manual control until the
power is cycled or until the Manual Solenoid
Control button is clicked again.
Once in manual solenoid control, the solenoids
may be turned on and off by clicking on them.
Once selected, the solenoid will respond
immediately. If the solenoid display is black, then
that solenoid is off. If the solenoid display is light
blue, then the solenoid is turned on.
