Overview of instrument display

1 Speedometer
The segments on the speedometer indicate
the status of the following systems: cruise
control / limiter / Active Distance Assist
DISTRONIC
2 Outside temperature
3 Instrument display (example: standard display
for trip): service / assistance / trip / naviga-
tion / radio / media / telephone / designs
4 Time

Area for additional values (example: rev coun-
ter): rev counter / navigation / ECO display /
consumption / G-meter / date
The fuel supply will be interrupted to protect
the engine when the red mark on the rev
counter (overrevving range) is reached.
6 Coolant temperature display
The coolant temperature display is permitted
to rise to 120°C during normal operation.
