Overview of instrument display

1 Speedometer
The segments on the speedometer indicate
the statuses of the following systems: cruise
control/limiter/Active Distance Assist
DISTRONIC
2 Index points
3 Outside temperature
4 Time
5 Area for additional values (example: rev coun-
ter): rev counter/navigation/ECO display/
consumption/G-meter/date
The fuel supply will be interrupted to protect
the engine when the red mark on the rev
counter (overrevving range) is reached.

Coolant temperature display
During normal operation, the coolant temper-
ature display is permitted to rise to 120°C.
Vehicles with 48 V on-board electrical system:
POWER and CHARGE displays (electrical drive
support and recuperation power of the elec-
tric motor)
