Data Backup and Restore Operations
Backing Up Pattern and Inst
Items Required
• Computer
• USB cable (Type-A/Type-B)
• USB driver

Backing Up System Settings
Follow the procedure below to write down on a piece of paper.
1.
Hold down the right LOAD in the browser section and connect the computer to the USB (

When START/STOP in the mixer section flashes, release your finger.
The eight pads in the left deck section and the upper left pad in the right deck section light up.
3.
Press the upper left pad in the left deck section.
The pressed pad flashes.
At this time, the value of "Mic audio low cut filter setting" is indicated on the level indicator as shown in the table below.

Write down the setting value.

In the same way, press each lighted pad to write down the setting values of the corresponding parameter.

Detach the USB cable to turn off the power.
Restoring Pattern and Inst
1.
Hold down the center CUE in the mixer section and connect the computer to the USB (

When START/STOP in the mixer section flashes, release your finger.
The ROLAND drive appears on the computer's screen.
3.
Open the RESTORE folder on the ROLAND drive.
4.
Copy the all files which have been backed up to the RESTORE folder.
5.
Eject the ROLAND drive and disconnect the USB cable.
The power is turned off.

Copy all files in the BACKUP folder to the computer.
