Periodical maintenance
Unit
Clean the air filter.
Clean the condensate drain pan.
Clean up the heat exchange.
Indoor unit
Clean the condensate drain pipe.
Replace the remote control
Batteries.
Clean the heat exchanger on the
outside of the unit.
Clean the heat exchanger on the
inside of the unit.
Clean the electric components with
jets of air.
Outdoor unit
Verify that all the electric
components are firmly tightened.
Clean the fan.
Verify that the fan assemblies are
firmly tightened.
Clean the condensate drain pan.
CAUTION
• Be sure to perform the maintenance check periodically. This work improves the air conditioner's
efficiency.
• The frequency of maintenance work may vary depending on the geographical area, amount of
dust, and other environmental elements. If the air conditioner is installed in a very dusty place,
perform the maintenance work more frequently.
• Make sure that the maintenance work must be done by qualified technicians. For more detailed
information, refer to the Installation manual.
