Set the document as follows:
When setting the document in the ADF
1. Set the document in the ADF face up.
2. Adjust the document guides.
Note: The number of the pages you
can set in the ADF at one time
is 50 sheets.
Adjust the resolution and the contrast, if necessary.

Sending a fax

to change to Fax mode.
When setting the document on the FBS
1. Open the platen cover.
2. Place the document on the FBS glass
face down and align it to the rear
left corner.
3. Close the platen cover.
