OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
FRENCH PLATE (SOLID) ELEMENTS (Models H-70EU and H-706EU)
1.
Your Wells hot plate is equipped with a temperature control switch for each element.
2.
Heat settings may be adjusted from "OFF" (O), through "LO" to "HI".
3.
"HI" is a continuous "ON" ( I ) setting.
4.
Indicator light will glow any time switch is "ON" ( I ).
Indicator light also warns the operator to turn switch "OFF" (O) when not in use.
GLASS-CERAMIC SURFACE (Models HC-125EU, HC-225EU, HC-1256EU and HC-2256EU)
WARNING!
DO NOT use the hotplate if the glass-ceramic surface is cracked, chipped or broken.

"HI" is a continuous "ON" setting.

"HOT SURFACE" indicator will glow until surface has cooled to 70ºC (160ºF).

OPERATING SUGGESTIONS

1.
Wells hot plates allow quick warm-up. Save energy by turning the hotplate temperature control
"OFF" (O) when not in use.
DO NOT leave control switch "ON" when not in use.
2.
DO NOT use cooking pots larger than 15 liters (4 gallons).
3.
Use flat bottom pots and pans for best results.
4.
DO NOT cook directly on glass-ceramic surface.
5.
DO NOT drop heavy pots or pans on glass-ceramic surface.
6.
Clean up spills promptly. Cooked-on food particles can be difficult to remove.
