Fault detection
The following table presents fault detection according to the sensor supply and the parameter
assignment for the short circuit test:

Discrepancy error

*) Fault detection only if signals are corrupted. That is, the read signal differs from the sensor signal
(discrepancy error). If there is no signal corruption with respect to the sensor signal, fault detection is not
possible and is not required from a safety standpoint.
**) If the input has a "1" signal and the short-circuit test is enabled.

For each process signal, an antivalent sensor is connected to two inputs of the F-I/O module
