Protection Control

PRESSURE PROTECTION CONTROL
These controls are used to protect the unit due to abnormal increase of high pressure or decrease of low pressure.
HPS opens at 638 psi, and closes when high pressure is lower than 464 psi.
LPS opens at 20 psi, and closes when detected low pressure is larger than 43 psi.
DISCHARGE TEMPERATURE PROTECTION CONTROL (SV6 CONTROL)
SV6 will open when the temperature T5 is over 199°F, and closes when it is under 190°F.
If the discharge temperature exceeds 212°F even though SV6 has sprayed liquid refrigerant to cool down the compressor, the frequency
will be limited to 48 Hz. Once the discharge temperature (T5) is lower than 199°F, the unit runs normal control.
When the discharge temperature arises to 230°F, the compressor stops immediately to run. It is prohibited to restart unless T5 is less
than 212°F.

This control is to suspend the abnormal condensing temperature for the outdoor heat exchanger.
