12 Troubleshooting

Restart protection
If the mains plug is inserted with the machine
switched on, or if the current supply is restored
following an interruption, the machine does not
start up.
The red electronic signal indicator (6) starts
flashing.
Switch the machine off and then back on again.
The electronic signal indicator (6) lights up
and on-load speed is reduced.
Winding temperature too high. Run the machine
in idling until the electronics signal indicator
switches off.

13 Accessories

Use only genuine Metabo accessories.
If you need any accessories, check with your
dealer.
For the dealer to select the correct accessory, he
needs to know the exact model designation of
your power tool.

14 Repairs

Repairs to electrical tools must be
carried out by qualified electricians
ONLY!
Any Metabo power tool in need of repair can be
sent to one of the addresses listed in the spare
parts list.
Please enclose a description of the fault with the
power tool.

15 Environmental Protection

Metabo's packaging can be 100% recycled. Worn
out power tools and accessories contain
considerable amounts of valuable raw and plastic
materials, which can be recycled.
These instructions are printed on chlorine-free
bleached paper.
Only for EU countries: Never dispose of
power tools in your household waste! In
accordance with European Guideline
2002/96/EC on used electronic and electric
equipment and its implementation in national
legal systems, used power tools must be collec-
ted separately and handed in for environmentally
compatible recycling.

Strong, high frequency interference can cause
speed fluctuations of up to 20%. However, such
fluctuations stop as soon as the interference
