SMEMA Interface

The communication interface between adjacent machines is provided
by way of a Surface Mount Equipment Manufacturers Association
(SMEMA) compliant protocol. The purpose of multi-machine in-line
interfacing is to allow the Agilent 5DX to be integrated directly with a
customer's current printed circuit assembly manufacturing process.
The following illustrations and charts provide the connection
specifications for the SMEMA-compliant interconnections.
