Observe polarity when connecting the KTY84.
The function of the replacement sensors cannot be guaran‐
teed and must therefore be ensured before commissioning.
For details on the dimension and position of the coolant connections, refer to
the dimensional drawing of the respective stator.
Install systems in the cooling circuit for monitoring flow, pressure and temper‐
ature.
The allocation of intake (IN) and outtake (OUT) can be arbitrarily done. It
does not influence the power data of the motor in any way.
You need other installation materials like couplings, tubes and
fastening clips (not in the scope of delivery) to supply motors with
a coolant.
The machine manufacturer is responsible for ensuring that the
coolant connection is tight and for verifying and accepting the
tightness after the motor has been installed.
Additional, regular inspections to ensure proper condition of the
coolant connection should be logged in the maintenance sched‐
ule of the machine.
The maximum coolant supply pressure of 6 bar applies to all 1MB motors
based on the effective current pressure directly at the coolant connection on
the motor.
Please observe that additional screw connections or junctions in the cooling
circuit can reduce the flow and supply pressure of the cooling medium.
Select well-spaced dimensioned connection screws and tube diameters.
Encoder and encoder connection components are not included in the scope
of delivery of the motor. Select the components according to the machine re‐
quirements.
