Maintaining the Electrical System
PROBLEM
The circuits lose power.
The unit does not exercise.
The generator undergoes excessive
vibration.
Utility power returns and the unit
does not stop.
Possible issues exist in manual mode. –

CAUSE
1.
An open generator circuit
breaker
2. Transfer switch problems
1.
Controller not set to auto.
2. Exercise timer not set or set to
OFF.
3. Unit date and time not set.
4.
Failed battery.
5.
Missing or blown 15-amp fuse.
Loose mechanical fastener.
1.
Blown fuses in the transfer
switch.
2. The five-minute cooldown still in
process.
3. Poor wire connection or
defective controllers.

Troubleshooting
CORRECTION
1.
Reset the circuit breaker.
2. See the transfer switch manual.

Push the auto button on the
controller.
2. Set the exercise timer.
3. Set the unit date and time.
4.
Replace the battery.
5.
Install a new 15-amp fuse. See
the System Controller section.
Check and repair it or contact the
local service facility.

2. Wait five minutes.
3. Check and repair the unit or
contact the local service facility.
