H. Resolution Test
Place 1.2 mm Cu filter on the
collimator.
Attach the lead strip test, type 41/41a
(1/Fig.3) on the I.I. rotated approx.
45° from the horizontal (2/Fig. 3)
position.
Place the 17 µm Cu strips (3/Fig. 3)
next to the lead strip test.
Select the anti-isowatt curve.
Switch fluoro ON.
Collimate a radiation field as shown
in (4/Fig.3).
Determine the maximum visible resolution on the monitor for all I.I. formats.
The factory settings must be reproduced (for values in parentheses, refer to Test
Type 41a).

If the resolution values are within tolerance, they must be entered in the "Start-up" table.
Ensure that the 17 µm Cu strip is visible in the monitor for all I.I. formats and confirm this
by entering "YES" in Table 5.7 "Start-up Minimum contrast visible?".

Use the values from Table 5.7 for the Acceptance Test protocol according to §16 RöV
(F.R. of Germany).
Test the TV system if the minimum resolution values are not reached or if the minimum
contrast is not visible.
Refer to the VIDEOMED DI Service Instructions, RX52-022.061.01...
Determine the resolution values or check the minimum contrast and enter the results in
table 5.7 after a readjustment of the TV system DI/DI M.
The tests and measurements that have been documented up to this point ensure that the
system is functioning properly.
However, to ensure customer satisfaction, the system must be adapted to the medical
applications in question and to the on-site procedures.
