Installing the Toner Cartridges

Install the toner cartridges in the same colour sequence as the print units
(from right to left: yellow, magenta, cyan, and black). Be careful not to spill
toner while installing a toner cartridge.

Remove the yellow toner cartridge from its packaging.

To loosen the toner inside the
cartridge, vigorously shake the
toner cartridge horizontally 10 or
more times.
Attention
Do not shake the toner cartridge vertically. Be careful not to hold the
toner cartridge by its shutter.

Next, to distribute the toner evenly
inside the cartridge, gently shake
the toner cartridge horizontally a
few more times.
