Tighten riving knife lock after adjustment.

Use straightedge to verify riving knife is prop-
erly aligned with blade.
— If riving knife and saw blade are mis-
aligned, verify blade thickness is not less
than thickness of riving knife.
— If thickness is correct, remove riving knife
and check for straightness.
IMPORTANT: NEVER use warped or dam-
aged riving knife when making a cut or kick-
back may occur.

Cutting depth should always be set just past the
bottom of the workpiece. To accurately set the
depth, position the saw along one edge of the
workpiece so that the blade extends below the
workpiece. Once the blade is extended, deter-
mine the necessary depth by allowing the blade
to extend roughly
